Jamestown Wildlife Area in Kansas

FarWide is a partner in a project to help the Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism acquire a 181-acre addition to the Jamestown Wildlife Area in northcentral Kansas.  The property is located along Buffalo Creek and restoration work planned for the site will include both wetland and grassland habitat.  The National Wild Turkey Federation has awarded FarWide a $15,000 grant to support this project.  Ducks Unlimited is also a partner in this effort. The project will provide habitat for numerous wildlife species as well as additional opportunities for people to enjoy hunting and other activities on the property.
